Calling all Expat Bloggers: Join World Blog Surf Day #2!

World Blog Surf Day #2

If you are an expat blogger, writing about your experiences of living in a country outside your home country, why not join in the second World Blog Surf Day, to be held on 13th June 2009?

The theme of the second World Blog Surf Day is food. That’s a subject that we can all relate to! You could write about the foods you miss from your home country, the food you like or don’t like in your current country of residence, interesting restaurants or eateries, recipes, grocery shopping or anything else related to food. It’s such a broad subject that it should be easy to find something interesting to write about!

The idea of World Blog Surf Day is that all of the participants publish a blog post on Saturday, 13 June 2009. At the end of the blog post, each participant includes a link to the next blog in the chain, so that readers can go on a virtual world tour by surfing from one expat blog to another!

I took part in the first World Blog Surf  Day and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I enjoyed sharing some thoughts about living as a Brit in Australia, but the best part was going on a virtual world tour of all of the participating expat blogs. I found all of the posts fascinating and ended up commenting on many of them!

So, if you are an expat and have an expat-oriented blog, why not sign up today for World Blog Surf Day #2. Just follow this link to the sign up page. You can find more information on the World Blog Surf Day website and on the organizer, Sher’s blog, Czech off the Beaten Path.

The deadline for signing up is Friday, 6 June 2009. After this date, you be notified of a blog to link with in your post for World Blog Surf Day. If you have any questions, just let me know by leaving a comment and I’ll do my best to help.

I’m looking forward to reading all of your blog posts on World Blog Surf Day!
